There is just too much red meat in this report by CNN to cover. Even the Anchor is surprised by Reza Sayah's report from Kabul Afghanistan. It's not often you here a news anchor use the word WOW! This WOW comes with a question mark a the end. WOW?....

The WOW was prompted by Sayah's comment that the Afghan people don't believe that anyone can stop the conflict which has plagued the country for more than 40 years. "...They are Hopeless..." he says! He cited Afghans on the street as anecdotal evidence of his conclusions.(at the 2:20 mark)

Does he not know that the Taliban and Al Queda are no longer running the country and that children are back in school? Does he not know that women have been given the right to vote and to work? Who the hell was he talking to?

Then Sayah goes on to say, "..."heres another President"(referring to Obama). Then he quickly changes it to "... in fact both presidential candidates.." (3:30 mark)

President Obama visits Hopeless Afghanistan?

It seems that the MSM have abandoned objectivity in favor of emotive language but it's just sad when personal bias is injected in to a news report. An opinion piece is a whole different game.

Update: I almost left out the part where both the Anchor and the reporter marvel at the bravery of Obama's visit and how the McCain camp pans Obama's visit as a photo op. (1:15 mark)Obama is acutally spending the night in Afghanistan! WOW! Anchor Fredricka Whitfield says, "..Isn't this at great risk to do this overnight in and area/region that has seen a spike in violence...?" Sayah says, "No question about it..."

I'm guessing that Obama's security detail hadn't thought about that. Remember when McCain visted the market in Bagdad, the left wing media made a big deal out of the fact that he had a huge security contingent.
