Pro-Romney Web Site Says Mitt Romney Will Be McCain VP Choice
The website My Man Mitt says that Mitt Romney will be John McCain's choice to be his Vice-Presidential running mate:
Update (12:30): Marc Ambinder says, look for no announcement this week. Mitt's out of town.
Update (11:30AM): Two sources say: "Mitt is it!" One source: "This is a head fake."

Well, it very well could be. John McCain will meet with Jindal tomorrow in New Orleans, however. It is getting very interesting!

I hope this is not true
I fear if McCain chooses Romney, he will lose soundly. Romney represents big business and special interests - not popular groups in this economy. When he ran for office in MA, many ads were run showing unemployed factory workers - their employer put out of business by Romney's Bain Capital. Can you imagine those kinds of ads in this economy? Also, McCain must have someone genuinely pro-life and pro-family - that is NOT Romney. I cannot imagine McCain choosing him, but if he does it is a deal breaker for many.
