Read About Pulling up McCain Signs/Liberal Professors

I work at a public school. In Ethics class we were told not to discuss politics/or who we would vote for. This was a class that did not add points, or wasn't required. I took it because ethics are very important for teachers. I have followed this rule about politics. I must tell you that Obama supporters wear pins, T-Shirts and barrage everyone with their support in my school. I have been made to feel like I am crazy, or dumb for wanting to vote for McCain. I have a special needs child - thus I love Palin! I also love McCain because he is McCain. I watch the morning shows, and see how many times Obama's picture is put on the screen during commercials to promote their show (TODAY). This is okay? But if I wear a pin, T-shirt, or put a sign on my car for McCain, I am bullied.

I think we should all be able to speak out without being called rascists. Do you want to know the reason I abhor the idea of having Obama as president? How can I get my students to salute the flag if their president (I won't give him a capital letter - doesn't deserve it!) won't do it? How can I tell students that we are all given the same opportunities, when Michelle Obama wrote a paper about the "Black experience" at Princeton? I am sorry, but I am tired of listening to people's perceived hardship! Many do not have a true hardship. And the truly courageous people do not consider it a hardship. It is just a matter of doing the right thing. McCain and Palin are doing the right thing. They are courageous. This is what we should be promoting. The inner strength of these two individuals. I wish we had more people who had their strength.
