Why focus on Obama's honesty when the general focus is the ecomiomic problems? Because someone who can work with dangerous people to bring the economy down to where it is today has the abilities to make it become even worse in future. Managing the economy needs more than people with good ideas. Managing the economy needs people who are honest and loyal to country. It needs people who really have the best interest of America at heart and who will always put country first.

Here is what I would like the next debate to sound like:

JMcCain: My friends, you need to ask yourselves; how does this man expect to fight terrorism when his political career got started with a job given to him by a terrorist.

My friends, how is he going to head the executive branch, the law enforcing branch of our government, when he trained the same ACORN reps who are now defrauding 13 states [or more by next week] and threatens to steal an election.

My friends, how is he going to fix the economy when he takes more money in 3 years from Freddie and Fannie than 48 other senators have in the last 10.

My friends, how is it then that the man who speaks a lot but says nothing is going to change this nation?

Obama: Hope, Change, McCain-Bush, Yes we can, Bush failed economic policies, 95% of Americans, fairness [randomly pick one and you have his response]

McCain: My friends, he says that he wants to reduce taxes on 95% of Americans, my friends, ask yourselves: how is that possible when 45% of Americans pay no Income taxes?

My Friends, what he doesn't tell you is that businesses don't pay taxes; they pass along costs and if they can't raise their prices they'll cut costs. And, my friends, you know what the biggest cost there is in a business... payroll.

My Friends, think as rational person. Be mindful of this man who stands before and you can criticize at will, but dare anyone criticize him and they are called racist.

My friends, this is the man that even without the authority of the Presidency is sending 'truth squads' to censor opposition. What will he do as President?

My friends that is your choice. If you can live with it, vote Obama if you can't vote for me.

The message that is NOT getting through is that Obama and friends (Dodd and Frank) are RESPONSIBLE for this economic meltdown. Obama was a trainer and lawyer for the foot soldiers who brought on the downfall of the economy. He and his colleagues in the Senate accepted huge amounts of money to expedite the foot soldiers work. And McCain might have to defend Bush here, whose administration tried to stop it. BUT the foot soldiers (ACORN) started the war, the Generals in Washington escalated the war on the financial markets and the profiteers on Wall Street just joined the massacre against the free market.

And McCain needs to be VERY STRONG against the Obama lie about his position on regulation. He needs to be very specific about where regulation punishes the individual (think OSHA absurdities and paperwork) BUT he recognizes that REGULATION IS needed at the upper levels and has worked for this. He needs to be specific about his work to REGULATE things that are out of control. Like election spending. Like the tobacco industry. LIKE Freddie and Fannie.

And I think his campaign needs to charge full steam ahead on demanding that Obama reveal his whole list of donors....all $200 million of them. I do NOT believe for a nanosecond that this money is coming from a slew of average donors. Are very wealthy people/organizations making repeated $199.99 amounts? The cases we know about are just the tip of the iceberg. THIS NEEDS TO BECOME AN ISSUE. LIke ACORN get out the vote efforts, this stinks to high heaven.
