Dick Morris says a Barack Obama presidency would mean the further radicalization of education, this through the US Department of Education. Granted, the politicizing of the USDE isn't exactly the same thing as Ohio public officials abdicating their responsibilities to the citizens of that state to ensure a fair election. John McCain & Sarah Palin know the business of government is governing, not midwife for an authoritarian regime. But that’s what we’re seeing in much more than the USDE, and in Ohio. It’s the velvet glove; it’s socialism. Think back to William Jefferson Clinton. During the Vietnam War while John McCain endured a North Vietnamese prison, “Slick Willie” participated in "teach-ins," in the Soviet Union – Russia our then arch adversary. Remember William Ayers and the Weather Underground?

While we played by the rules, Ayers tinkered with explosives. It doesn’t take much imagination to know what kind of companions Ayers had to cultivate. It doesn’t seem to matter: lucrative teaching positions, generous education grants, and more political activities and acquaintances, just a few of the perks associated with being a domestic terrorist. Anyway, the stakes in this election are high. The world situation is desperate, as usual. I love hearing Governor Palin restate traditional values. When a candidate like Sarah Palin gets slammed for her beliefs, it makes me know how far we've slid. Her values are my values, and when push comes to shove, they're the only values worth fighting for. The Russians have a particularly relevant saying: the fish rots from the head.
