McCain Says Obama and Clinton Iraq Pullout Plans Would Lead to Chaos

John McCain attended a fundraiser in Pennsylvania last night, and he will hold a Town Hall Meeting in Springfield, Pennsylvania, this morning. Here is a local report on his visit last night, including his statement that if Clinton and Obama get their way on an Iraq pullout, it will lead to "chaos":

Sen. John McCain came to Philadelphia on Thursday night.

He attended a private, $1,000-a-plate fundraiser in Center City. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge took part.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee also sat next to NBC 10's Steve Highsmith on his bus, the "straight talk express."

McCain commented on the nasty tone in the Democratic race and what may unfold.

"I'm worried about the 527s because, as you know, no one has any control over them and you see a lot of the attack ads that way. In fact, the unions use that vehicle," McCain said.

"But I know Sen. Obama and I know Sen. Clinton, and I've committed to a respectful debate, and I believe we can have a respectful debate," the senator from Arizona continued. "There are stark differences. They're liberal Democrats and I'm a conservative Republican."

McCain said getting out of Iraq, as Clinton and Obama suggest, would lead to chaos and more bloodshed.

He'll campaign Friday morning in Delaware County.

On Friday, McCain will be at a town meeting at the Springfield Country Club in Delaware County.
