
McCain Holds Double-Digit Lead Over Both Obama and Clinton - Rasmussen
For the first time, Sen. John McCain has opened up a double-digit lead over BOTH Democratic Candidates - Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton! The latest Rasmussen Tracking Poll shows McCain with a 10-point lead over both possible Dem nominees:
51% John McCain
41% Barack Obama
51% John McCain
41% Hillary Clinton
Rasmussen also shows McCain's favorable rating now at +15 (56% Favorable to 41% Unfavorable), way ahead of Obama at -6 (46% Favorable to 52% Unfavorable), and Clinton at -10 (44% Favorable to 54% Unfavorable).
Looking ahead to the General Election in November, John McCain continues to lead both potential Democratic opponents. McCain leads Barack Obama 51% to 41% and Hillary Clinton 51% to 41%. McCain is now viewed favorably by 56% of voters nationwide and unfavorably by 41%. Obama’s reviews are 46% favorable and 52% unfavorable. For Clinton, those numbers are 44% favorable, 54% unfavorable.
