Great video!
Thanks for posting this video - McCain made some great points about cutting back on wasteful spending, and Huckabee noted that McCain's record as senator has been second to none on spending cuts. These two really compliment one another and make a good team.
McCain/Huckabee '08....priceless!!!
Seeing Senator McCain and Governor Huckabee together just reinforces my opinion that they have what it takes to win. On top of the fact that Mike Huckabee has everything Senator McCain needs to complete his package, including national name recognition and the solid enthusiastic support of conservatives, their "chemistry" is just magical!! Body language experts gave them 97.7 approval, very rare! Was a full 34 points higher than any other vp potential that McCain has been with. We are going to need someone who can excite the base of the party and get us to rally. McCain can't afford to gamble with some unknown governor. There is no time for someone new to win over the conservatives in this fast paced campaign and the conservatives hearts belong to "Huckabee". Huckabee's political future is boundless whether he is McCain's running mate or not. But McCain and this country need Mike Huckabee in Washington now. The selections of a vp will be McCain's first test at decision making and I hope he will go with his gut and the base of his party and choose Huckabee.
I disagree about Huckabee.

I dont have a choice for VP yet-I started with Romney as a good choice but now that things have settled down I have had time to reflect and look at other choices.
It IS a very important decision for McCain and I don't think he will pick Huckabee. Huckabee alienated many republicans by refusing to step aside and let McCain take his "earned" place as the republican nominee.
It kind of reminds me of what Hillary is doing now.
I'm sure "Hucks Army" is trying their level best and wishes that things were different, but McCain will NEVER pick Huck. If I am wrong, I will come back here and admit it.

"Whoever can jump on there[blogsforjohnmccain.com] and comment, I think it would help.
Also, the last time I was on the latimes poll (this morning), Romney was way ahead again. His rise has taken place in the last day; prior to that Mike was way ahead.
I think anytime any of us find a place where the VP is mentioned, we should have several comments supporting Mike posted. Out of sight, out of mind."

I applaud the enthusiasm of the Huckabee supporters. It was a brilliant run but it failed. The metoric rise of his poll numbers was a testimate to his supporters conviction. However is was countered by a majority that were unhappy with Huckabee dragging things out and ignoring the inevitable outcome.
I hope the Hucks Army people are not too disappointed...
