It looks as if Obama took the first couple of points from McCain's position and added earmarks to it.

I agree with McCain, Govt needs to take action to make sure the economy as a whole does not come to a standstill, that would hurt all of us and the bill needs oversight and transparency since it is the taxpayer who will foot the bill. Let 's actually see what we are buying and not let the CEO's of these big banks laugh all the way to the bank on our tax dollars.

But for the 90% of us who were smart and did not sign on the dotted line for a mortgage we could not afford, why should we give more of our money to individuals who made the bad decision for taking on more than they can handle? According to Obama's plan, my take it this is what he wants to do - make those responsible homeowners bail out the irresponsible ones. Sorry, but I work too hard for my money.
