Democrat Blogs Buzzing Over Possible Existence of Michelle Obama Video Railing Against "Whitey"
It's all over the Democratic Blogs today - at least the pro-Hillary Dem blogs. Too early to know if it is accurate or not. But No Quarter is saying (HillBuzz Blog is also talking about it) they have it on the authority of three GOP sources that a video has been found by Republicans that shows Michelle Obama railing against "Whitey" in the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. According to these sources, the video will be used this fall by the GOP "at the appropriate time."
Whether or not this video exists, the fact Pro-Hillary blogs are pushing this story shows the level of animosity that exists between the Clinton and Obama camps. That kind of animosity is not going to go away if Obama is the nominee. I believe there will be many Clinton supporters who will not vote for Obama under any circumstances.
If it turns out that such a tape does exist, it will be devastating for Obama. After all, how will he try to talk himself out of such statements by his wife? Will he say he had no idea she had such ideas or had ever made such statements? He seems to think that lame excuse works with his pastor of 20 years, so he would probably think that will pass with voters in the case of his wife as well. Something tells me it won't.

The Alleged Whitey Video
In reference to the Clinton supporters claiming that there is a damaging video in which Michelle Obama rails against Whitey-
Dang! The battle is sinking lower & lower.
I cannot imagine Michelle Obama saying that &, if such a video existed it would guarantee a McCain Presidency - so any Republican dumb enough to tell Democrats about it before Obama has safely landed the official nomination has a lot to answer for. So, I highly doubt any such video exists.
What if there is a tape?
Barack would deny that he knew Michelle had these views or make some other excuse for her outburst. He has done this before and managed to get by with it. What we need is a tape showing Barack in the audience applauding when Rev. Wright is shouting his anti-American sentiments. Surely there is such a tape somewhere. Maybe Rev. Wright has it and is saving it to bury Obama at just the right time.

Or, or, or...he didn't say precisely what he would do, but Michelle Obama's great shame of her country cannot be used or discussed. Man or man. Obama's setting down some mighty weird rules of engagement. Can't mention voter demographics if they involve white people or you're a racist. Can't hold him accountable for launching his career with the help of a terrorist or you're a McCarthyite. Can't be suspicious of his views about America based on the church he joined or the nutcase he listened to for 20 years or you're a mud-slinger and hate-monger. Can't mention his general stupidity in regard to foreign affairs or you're a fear-monger. Now you're not to mention his wife's views of the the US even though she thinks WE'RE the real axis of evil and says so publicly.
So I guess we all know how Obama plans to run for President of the US: he and his gets to say anything they want about anything or anybody. Republicans are hate-mongering, war-mongering, fear-mongering, racists whose knuckles still drag the ground.
Maybe he'll hold a person-to-person summit with Republicans. No preconditions, just mano a mano.
If his guy and his cheerleading squad at NBC and ABC and CBS isn't scaring you yet, you might want to rethink this Manchurian candidate.

Amy- that was hilarious and too true. The Obama double standard/campaign is getting downright surreal. I am still trying to figure out his position on terror state summits. First he said he would sit down with leaders like Ahmadinejad without preconditions, then - realizing his error- he says he would meet without preconditions but WITH PREPARATIONS. What is the difference? Nobody asks. That would violate the principle Obama doctrine which vagueness. If he were pinned down he might have to take an actual position.
He talks about preparations involving sending lower level diplomats to talk with hostile nations (is it possible he does not know we already do that?) and seems to suggest that certain conditions would have to be met before a summit could take place (Preconditions- in other words?) It is unclear how this would be different from what we are doing now. Presumably there would be some difference - he has made this a centerpiece of his campaign & the major doctrine of his foreign policy... Does he have a plan or is he just making it up as he goes? According to Rush Limbaugh Obama said something about letting Iran rejoin the League of Nations if the renounced terrorism and nucleur ambitions and also recognized the state of Israel... that HAS been our position for the last 10 years.
