The RNC has created "Friends in Low Places II" and if focuses on Tony Rezko's connection to renovations performed at the home of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
Will Obama Be Forced To Denounce Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich As A Friend Who Is No Longer A Friend?
Federal Authorities Are Currently Investigating The Possibility That Tony Rezko Paid For All Or Part Of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's $90,000 Home Rehab:
"Federal Investigators Are Zeroing In On Whether Tony Rezko Paid For All Or Part Of A $90,000 Rehab Of Gov. Blagojevich's Northwest Side Bungalow As The Corruption Probe Of The State's First Family Accelerates." (Maudlyne Ihejirika, Chris Fusco, Dave McKinney And Natasha Korecki, "Did Rezko Pay For Blagojevich's House Rehab?" Chicago Sun-Times, 10/5/08)
Since Rezko's Conviction, The FBI Has Been Investigating How Blagojevich Was Billed By Rezko For Work Performed On His House. "Since Rezko's felony conviction in June, the FBI has been investigating how the former top Blagojevich fund-raiser billed the governor and his wife for the work, who paid for it and whether Rezko ever arranged for cash to be passed in envelopes to the Blagojeviches, several sources familiar with the probe told the Chicago Sun-Times." Last week, defense attorneys representing figures in Illinois corruption cases tipped the media that Tony Rezko may have decided to cooperate with federal investigators. Now it appears their worst nightmare has come true. Federal prosecutors requested a delay in Rezko’s sentencing, almost certainly a sign that Rezko has cut a deal to limit his time in prison after his conviction on multiple counts of corruption:

Shares tumble 19% after bank moves to shore up shaky investment funds
In case you didn't know, Northern Trust Corp. is the mortgage lender for the Obamas. This is the bank that gave a sweet deal to the Obamas on their elite property in Chicago located next to Tony Rezko's lot. According to the Washington Post article "Obama Got Discount on Home Loan" last July:
"The freshman Democratic senator received a discount. He locked in an interest rate of 5.625 percent on the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage, below the average for such loans at the time in Chicago. The loan was unusually large, known in banker lingo as a 'super super jumbo.' Obama paid no origination fee or discount points, as some consumers do to reduce their interest rates."

If you have not followed the money and the relationships between Obama and folks like Tony Rezko, William Ayers and Gov. Rod Blagojevich, or organizations and businesses such as ACORN, New Kenwood LLC, Trinity United Church of Christ, Woods Fund, Chicago Public Education Fund, Fannie Mae and Northern Trust, then you might want to read up at this blog:
Obama's Northern Trust Connections:

After reading the blog above, my admiration for the dedication of citizens in this country to the upcoming election has grown significantly!
Look, one has to be able to admire Obama for his community organizing interests. But it seems that with his connections to Fannie Mae, ACORN and Northern Trust, Barack Obama should recuse himself from voting on this bail out legislation, should it ever come to vote in the Senate.
Here is McCain's latest hard hitting ad. It seems to be the result of the McCain team's promise to focus on Obama's "associations" and it exposes a politician that that will rely on just about anyone that he can advance his political career.

Here is new video that focuses on what Barack Obama considers "distractions," but what millions of Americans consider to be very significant issues of character and judgment - Reverends, Radicals, and Rezko.
Here is a Fox News video report and discussion on just how much damage the Tony Rezko corruption trial in Chicago could do to Barack Obama, a close friend of Rezko. Obama has also been linked to a "sweetheart" real estate purchase with Rezko:

Here is a priceless moment. The moment Barack Obama met reality. He has coasted along with the almost universal adulation of an adoring press corps to this point. But yesterday, March 4, the press corps with him in San Antonio, Texas decided to ask him some hard questions about what his campaign aides told Canada about NAFTA, and about his dealings with Tony Rezko, a man on trial in Chicago. As you will see in the video clip below, answering hard questions is not on Obama's "hopeful" agenda. He just decided to walk away, to the protests of the press corp.
Below the video, you will find part of a Washington Post account of the fireworks:
The day before primaries in Ohio and Texas that could effectively seal the Democratic presidential nomination for him, a smiling Obama strode out to a news conference at a veterans facility here. But the grin was quickly replaced by the surprised look of a man bitten by his own dog. read more »
