We need to open our eyes to the advancement of socialism. The current administration and congress have been sitting by and let liberal socialist/progressivisms build a wave of anti American resolve in our country. When times get a little tough the people of this nation cower to the social beliefs that someone will take care of us, pay us, feed us, provide medical care, and ensure that the sense of self gratification for reaching ones goals are quashed. No one will want to advance in society or care if a full socialistic government takes control of this country. You want to send your children to college then ask permission first, want town a business then government would control you input and output for the better of the whole of the country.
Ignorance has become a way of life for the citizens of this country and the progressive/socialist/liberals have been waiting for the time to make their move to overcome capitalism and the American way of life. Not only have we as a group of this great nation have sit on our haunches but our legislative leaders (the majority) have driven our "way of life" into the ground and defaced and disgraced it with crime and corruption. I thought that these problems were left behind from the 1800 and early to mid 1900's. The House and Senate are tools for the people. These tools have not been used by the people for so long that they have become corroded with self severance, socialistic laziness and corruption. I now believe that our leaders have brought our country to such demise that foreign interest has started a financial takeover of our country. By letting this interest takeover our financial institutions we are inviting the shadow of socialism to invade our very existence and to change America into a social state. A sad day it will be when this happens.
I love my country and would die for it. I have given 27 years of my life for the cause. I love my flag and I know there are millions of others out there that do also. Democrats do not have to be a socialist reform party. They can work to better the lives of all Americans but their ideas must change. A social welfare state is not and has proven not to be a successful way to achieve greatness and prosperity.
I hope that by reading this that the word will spread to the far reaches of our great nation and a sense of patriotism will flare, a sense of true American values like we had and we want that is not comparable to any other system in the world. Stand up and voice your concerns write your concerns, use a postcard anything and tell your representatives in Washington and in your state that you are tired of the corruption and want real change and to stamp out the socialistic takeover of this country.
