Paris Hilton
The press is billing this as a slapdown to John McCain - and she does take her shots - but this new humorous "ad" by Paris Hilton actually continues the theme of just how weak and empty Barack Obama's candidacy is. In fact, Paris Hilton's "energy plan" set forth in the spot is more detailed and full of more common sense than anything Obama has articulated in the campaign! At least she is not depending on tire gauges to solve our oil supply problem! Here's the McCain Campaign response to the "ad":
In the unkindest cut of all, McCain’s spokesperson Tucker Bounds tells TMZ that on the subject of energy, Paris is deeper than Barack. He says, “Sounds like Paris is taking the ‘All of the Above’ energy approach that John McCain has advocated — both alternatives and drilling. Perhaps the reality is that Paris has a more substantive energy plan than Barack Obama.”

Here is the much talked about John McCain ad, "Celebrity." I was sure this had been posted here at BFJM when it first came out last week. But as I have searched for it, I don't find that it was ever posted! I can't believe it, because we try to be complete here at BFJM on all things John McCain. So, just to be sure we have it posted here, here is the ad that has led to sleepless nights on the far-left. It's worth another look anyway!

Michelle Malkin references a Newsbusters.com article which references a Washington Post article that quotes Barack Obama as saying the following in Febuary 2005:
There's nothing exotic or complicated about how phenoms are made in Washington, and, more to the point, how they are broken.
"Andy Warhol said we all get our 15 minutes of fame," says Barack Obama. "I've already had an hour and a half. I mean, I'm so overexposed, I'm making Paris Hilton look like a recluse."
Is criticizing McCain's "Celeb" ad another Obama campaign GAFFE? Of course it is. It seems that Obama is willing to say whatever he is told to say whenever his advisors tell him to say it. He has changed his positions so often that even he can't remember what he said last.
The worst thing is, he will never admit that he was wrong.
