McCain in California
Here is a local news report in San Francisco where John McCain held a fundraiser on March 26, 2008. The report focuses on a woman who is an Obama supporter, but says she would vote for John McCain if Obama is denied the nomination -- the Democrats' worst nightmare. A recent Gallup Poll showing 28% of Hillary Clinton voters would support McCain if Obama is nominated is also discussed. These voters who would opt for John McCain if their candidate is not nominated are now being called, "Donner Party Democrats." Below is the Wiki explanation of the "Donner Party."
The Donner Party was a group of California-bound American settlers caught up in the "westering fever" of the 1840s. After becoming snowbound in the Sierra Nevada in the winter of 1846–1847, some of the emigrants resorted to cannibalism.

Here is video of John McCain's outstanding Foreign Policy Address delivered today, March 26, 2008, before the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles. McCain's address was a sweeping vision of how he would handle Foreign Policy as President, from North America to Latin America, and including his view on the importance of Iraq and Afghanistan as the pillars to forge a new, more peaceful and Democratic Middle East.
We will have significant clips from the speech on key subjects in the near future.
Note: The video begins a few moments into the speech.

Here is a local news report on John McCain's visit to the San Diego area on March 24, 2008, for a Town Hall Meeting and fundraiser. There is a brief interview with McCain included in the report.
Notice the beginning of the report references and shows some protesters who turned out to protest McCain at his fundraiser yesterday. Other accounts indicate there were 24 protesters. But get ready for the news media to constantly highlight the protesters at every McCain appearance from now to election day, regardless of how few there actually are.
