Jr.
Here is video of Sen. John McCain speaking in Memphis, TN, on the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., April 4, 2008.
Toward the end of his remarks, John McCain said he had been wrong to initially oppose the establishment of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day National Holiday, a statement met by a mixture of cheers and jeers from the crowd on hand. The national media has been playing that small clip endlessly today. McCain's full remarks are really quite good, and he was courageous to go there today and say what he did.
