Joe Biden
A Zogby Poll done in July showed that Joe Biden would actually be a net negative if chosen by Barack Obama to be his running mate. Check out the numbers:

Well, it's now official.
Obama picks Biden for VP
Barack Obama named Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware as his vice presidential running mate early Saturday, balancing his ticket with a seasoned congressional veteran well-versed in foreign policy and defense issues.
Obama announced the pick on his Web site with a photo of the two men and an appeal for donations. A text message went out shortly afterward that said, "Barack has chosen Senator Joe Biden to be our VP nominee."
Biden, 65, has twice sought the White House, and is a Catholic with blue-collar roots, a generally liberal voting record and a reputation as a long-winded orator.
Across more than 30 years in the Senate, he has served at various times not only as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee but also as head of the Judiciary Committee, with its jurisdiction over anti-crime legislation, Supreme Court nominees and Constitutional issues.
In selecting Biden, Obama passed over several other potential running mates, none more prominent than former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, his tenacious rival in dozens of primaries and caucuses.
Obama's campaign arranged a debut for the newly minted ticket on Saturday outside the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Ill.
Obama's decision leaked to the media several hours before his aides planned to send a text message announcing the running mate, negating a promise that people who turned over their phone numbers would be the first to know who Obama had chosen. The campaign scrambled to send the text message after the leak, sending phones buzzing at the inconvenient time of just after 3 a.m. on the East coast.
Wow. It looks like Obama has actually picked a running mate whose even more arrogant than he is!
Team McCain and the GOP should be able to come up with some nice ads about Joe Biden and his notorious big mouth.
They should pull some stuff from this ad.
and this that I just created. ;)

ABC News is reporting that Secret Service are on their way to Joe Biden's house, which would seem to indicate that he is going to be Barack Obama's running mate:
The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., a source tells ABC News, indicating in all likelihood that Biden has been officially notified that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has selected him to be his running mate.
Sources also tell ABC News that two others said to be finalists for the position of Obama's running mate -- Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., and Virginia Gov Tim Kaine -- have been told they have not been selected to be Obama's running mate.
Kaine flew to Denver earlier today, is in Denver tonight and has no plans to leave in the next 24 hours. Bayh is at his Washington, DC, home with his family.
Biden was last seen minutes ago at his Wilmington estate where his extended brood is gathering.
The Obama campaign would not comment, but Obama mentioned Biden twice in speeches on the trail this week, both times heralding his legislative leadersip in East Asia.

Newsweek is reporting that Sen. Barack Obama will now likely delay announcing his VP Choice until the week before the Democratic National Convention begins on August 25. They are also reporting that a new dark-horse has emerged in the VP Sweepstakes - Texas Congressman Chet Edwards:
The "shortlist" of options to be Barack Obama's running mate is longer than most media accounts have suggested. In addition to the familiar front runners—Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine—there are at least two other veepstakes contenders: New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, who enraged Hillary Clinton supporters by endorsing Obama during the primaries, and a genuine dark horse, TexasRep. Chet Edwards, whose district includes President George W. Bush's ranch in Crawford. Obama's campaign had hoped to announce his pick this week to grab the spotlight before the Beijing Olympics. But now a decision is unlikely to come until the week before the party convention, which begins in Denver on Aug. 25. According to party sources close to the selection process, who asked not to be identified discussing an internal matter, progress was slowed by Obama's overseas trip—and because his list is more fluid than generally thought. Edwards, 56, has been pushed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other congressional Democrats who cite his work on veterans' affairs and nuclear nonproliferation, as well as his potential to attract Southern white blue-collar voters. Pelosi has called Edwards "one of the finest people I've ever served with." His stock rose further, one source said, after a meeting with Obama, though his low national profile remains a hurdle.
In fact, Obama aides have identified potential drawbacks to all the front runners. Biden brings foreign-policy expertise, but there are lingering concerns that his garrulous tendencies might knock the campaign off message. Bayh, who the sources say has been lobbying hard for the nod, brings solid centrist credentials. (An aide says Bayh is not "actively" pursuing the job.) But his wife serves on numerous corporate boards, and she also previously worked as a lawyer for drug giant Eli Lilly—an inconvenient link for a party committed to health-care reform. Kaine is seen as a "change" candidate, but he has no national-security experience. Clinton remains a possibility, but her chances are seen as remote, if only because of the near impossibility of vetting her husband's business affairs.
Chet Edwards would be an interesting pick for Obama. They just might believe he would put Texas in play, along with several other Southern states. But another Edwards - John Edwards - proved in 2004 that just being on the ticket does not guarantee a win in the home state. North Carolina went for George W. Bush.

On Meet the Press, June 22, 2008, Sen. Joe Biden representing the Obama campaign was really unable to defend Obama's decision to break his word and opt out of public financing as he had pledged to do. Biden's only attempt at defense was to say Obama could not be influenced by big money because he has so many small donors, as if that means he should not need to keep his word. Graham countered that Obama is a "calculating politician" who has shown he is heavily influenced by the far-left in the Democratic Party, particularly by MoveOn.org.

Joe Biden and Marty Parrish
A former Joe Biden Campaign office manager demonstrated how far and how low Democrats will go to win the White House yesterday. The guy's name is Marty Parrish, and like many Democrats tend to do, he lied and claimed that he was with the "press."
When the opportunity came, he asked Senator McCain if he had ever called his wife a c*nt. What a great guy! Here's the video.
Marty Parrish Obama Supporter
Now Mr. Parrish is a Obama Supporter. Guess he couldn't take watching Reverend Wright destroy Obama's candidacy, so he went out and did something stupid like this.
UPDATE: John Gibson Destroys Marty Parrish and exposes his ties to Soros:
