Celebrity Ad

Here is the much talked about John McCain ad, "Celebrity." I was sure this had been posted here at BFJM when it first came out last week. But as I have searched for it, I don't find that it was ever posted! I can't believe it, because we try to be complete here at BFJM on all things John McCain. So, just to be sure we have it posted here, here is the ad that has led to sleepless nights on the far-left. It's worth another look anyway!

When you thought the left-wing Obama apologists in the media could not get more brazen or bizarre - up steps Bob Herbert of the New York Times (Why are we not surprised).

He appeared this morning on MSNBC's Morning Joe to talk about John McCain's "Celebrity" Ad, which very briefly shows Paris Hilton and Britney Spears along with images of Barack Obama speaking in Berlin at the base of the Victory Monument there. As you watch on the video, you will see that Herbert talks about what he calls the "Phallic" images early in the ad, thinking that there were two different images. He identifies them as the "Leaning Tower of Pisa," and the "Washington Monument!" I kid you not! He is waxing eloquent on the meaning of John McCain's ad and does not even know the difference between the Victory Monument in Berlin (which appears in the ad), and the "Leaning Tower of Pisa" and the Washington Monument, neither of which are even remotely pictured in the ad!!!!

You can tell the other libs on the set with him were just stunned! No one knew what to say. It is truly unbelievable to watch.

Herbert's "Phallic" comments begin at the 2:16 mark of the video.

Here is Sen. Joe Lieberman defending John McCain's "Celebrity Ad" in which Barack Obama is shown with lightweight celebrities Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. Lieberman makes the pertinent point - "We are not voting for our favorite celebrity here."
