Former President George H. W. Bush will publicly endorse Sen. John McCain for President today in Houston. The endorsement is scheduled for 10:30 AM ET, and will be carried live on MSNBC, and perhaps other TV networks. HOUSTON -- Sen. John McCain will pick up a big endorsement Monday at Hobby Airport.

Former President George H.W. Bush will back the candidate for president.

In a recent poll, McCain was leading Mike Huckabee by only four points in Texas, so his campaign hopes this endorsement will be huge.

"I hope so, because former President Bush is one of the most respected people in our party," McCain said.
