This is almost unbelievable, except that it's from the Democratic party. Rep. Conyers (D-MI) is now calling for a full investigation as to who leaked the story about an illegal immigrant living in a Boston slum. This woman is here ILLEGALLY, and she IGNORED A JUDGE'S ORDER TO LEAVE for over 4 years.
Let me explain how this works. The people elect a government (legislature and executive branches). The legislature thinks crap up; that's their job, just sit there and think stuff up to become laws. Once a bill is passed (with both houses agreeing, the President signing or being overruled by a 2/3 Congressional vote, and the judicial branch finding no unconstitutional portions of the law) the executive branch EXECUTES the law. What Rep. Conyers needs to be investigating is why THE LAW WAS NOT EXECUTED!
We've seen example after example of how leftwingers and liberal elitists have tried to curb free speech. Whether it's kicking conservative commentators off of the Obama plane, attacking everyday citizens publicly on the Today Show for asking hard questions, attempting to institute a "Fairness" Doctrine that requires us to have the correct opinions, or by banning certain news stations from interviews from Great Leader and his comrades, the Democrats are on the wrong end of the Constitution. At every turn their followers (worshipers?) who faint at the mere site of Great Leader demonstrate the need to repeal the 17th Amendment.
To all of my liberal friends: You may not like the Conservative ideology, but at least you are still free to argue the point. Your comrades in training are taking us down a road to complete government control over every aspect of our lives. The Nazis didn't take over Germany with a sweeping executive order and gunfire. They did it with subtlety under the radar of public opinion. Curbing speech, reducing the right to bear arms, and blatantly attacking citizens who speak out against injustices is only the first step. The slippery slope of this ideology will come back to haunt us, if we don't take a stand now.
Does it make sense for a Congressman to want to attack a federal agent for speaking the truth? He did not slander this woman, or insinuate that Sen. Obama has performed some illegal act. He pointed out the truth that government FAILED TO EXECUTE THE LAW. Rep. Conyer's childish and blatantly political behavior represents the elite attitude of liberal ideology (i.e., the state cannot tolerate insolence from the masses).

The age of stupidity has arrived:

Seriously, someone needs to investigate Rep. Frank. This guy stinks so much of conflict of interest, that I have to plug my nose.
Check out some of the details!

Democrats blatantly lie with the help of the mainstream media. When you're Obama, you can afford to criticize your opponent as "negative" because the media does your own dirty work for you!

One of my 'staff writers' has a pretty good analysis of the poll numbers, and what they really mean. Check out JCB's analysis here:

Late in the 20th century, there were questions over whether we would experience a paradigm shift, away from the industrial age, and into the 'information age.' Today, with the first decade of the 21st century already coming to a close, we no longer ask "if" but "when." The answer is "now." It is inevitable that this nation will face some tough challenges, as we move forward, but we can look back to the historical precedents of other great shifts in our nation's history to take great comfort in where we're headed.
In 1900, about half of all Americans were farmers or involved in agriculture. By 2000 only 1-2% of Americans were farmers or agricultural workers, yet we produce more food per capita than we ever have. We shifted from an agricultural nation to an industrial superpower, and in the process changed the face of liberty not only at home, but abroad. Our industrial might helped us to help our free-thinking allies fight off, and defeat tyrannical dictators, while we were able to prosper at home. Although we have faced some hard times, we have never failed to overcome them. We won't fail now.
We face some stark new realities that are unique to our time, yet we have the national will, and the know-how to tackle the problems we face. We are moving towards an information age, and we are already starting to feel the growing pains. We cannot simply continue to be loose with credit, or let politics play 'Piper' to principles. It has to be the other way around. I'm looking for a candidate that puts principles and country first, and I've found the best option in John McCain. "Change" can't be an empty slogan, but rather a call to action. When the paradigm shift hits full swing, we don't want to be printing money to add to our national debt, because we couldn't cut a pork-barrel program, or because businesses found a better deal in foreign lands. We need to pay off our debt, and start saving. We need to educate our workforce, and simultaneously defend our homeland. We need something new. We need some good common sense.

Now, I'll leave you with a fairly popular presentation that demonstrates some of the realities in this new global economy...shift happens.

In looking at Senator Obama's policies, and his many statements regarding slowing the development of future combat systems, not weaponizing space, and his extremely partisan left-wing stance on numerous other issues, I've come to a conclusion:
Sen. Obama and the Democrats suffer from Premature Evacuation Syndrome.
Do you suffer from PES? This embarrassing liberal ideology can result in some pretty serious side effects such as:
1) withdrawing too early from a conflict that you will inevitably win
2) jumping ship from a free market economy to communism during a DOW down week
3) retreating from people who call for you to open your academic records, and much much more.
Please, if you suffer from PES, cure your ailment by voting for a candidate with staying power!
Vote McCain/Palin 2008!

In response to a post from another user, I decided to give a brief record of where our traditions have come from in this country, as well offer a brief description of where we're headed. This election is not a game, and Sen. McCain is the one candidate that can lead us back to the traditions of our founding fathers. The Straight Talk Express is getting an upgrade, and it's going to hit Sen. Obama like a freight train Wednesday night
Our Traditions
Our founding fathers sought to create a Constitutional Republic. After much debate, and it took quite some time I might add, they settled on a federal system of shared powers, as well as a the checks and balances offered by the three branches. There were varying viewpoints, and you can read more about it in the federalist papers (there are 85 in all, written by the likes of Alexander Hamilton, et al, but signed "Publius" for anonymity). In essence, we believe in a system that allows for a majority rule, but with minority rights. Our rights, freedoms, and responsibilities were not formed by some central government, and we did not receive our liberties from our main government figureheads. Rather, as our founding fathers explained, we were given Divine rights by our Creator. The Bill of Rights, for example, does not talk about "granting" rights to us, rather, it mentions what rights the government shall not infringe upon. read more »
